EPA against clean car
Not less than 12 states have adopted “clean car” standards, for reducing the global warming pollution from vehicles.
These 12 states represent a third of the U.S. auto market. This is just the beginning, because many other states are considering doing it, too. The strangest thing is that the U.S Environment Protection Agency, or EPA, blocked the states from implementing their laws, for many years.
Because many people are concern about the global warming pollution, EPA might introduce some conditions to determine states to implement their clean car standards.
The U.S. public, and not only, is waiting for a decision from Stephen Johnson, who is the EPA Administrator, concerning the responsibility to approve the clean car standards waiver.
