After many years, the surname Dodge became a symbol of four wheels and symbol of America too.
Since its first model in 1914, till this year 2007, this manufacturer passed a long way with magnificent and unavoidable progress that is really a part of mankind’s history.
So the year 2007 – the newest model Avenger that continues in a perfect history of the American brand. Ant this saloon is an essential part of one modification in „Star Wars“ style called the „Stormtrooper.“
The SRT group takes ordinary vehicles and turns them into high performance muscle machines; they have three cars and a Jeep named SRT-8, all using the 6.1 liter Hemi engine.
The least likely of the trio is the Dodge Magnum, the station wagon we’re not supposed to call a station wagon.
The Magnum R/T has a nice ride and surprisingly good dry-road handling, with quite a bit of power; but it’s hard to break the rear tires loose for longer than it takes to chirp them.
To realize the Stormtrooper, the designer’s team, managed by Scott Anderson was inspired by Stormtrooper costumes, from Star Wars.

The engine is a 4 liter, V6, from the Pacifica crossover, with changed electronics and with a 6 speed automatic gear box.
The base ground is lower because of the KW suspensions. The Alcoa Forget rims have 20×9 inches and 245/35/r20 tires.
The evacuation is Borla and the brakes are realised by StopTech.
On the interior, the seats are made from alcantara, by Charger SRT8.
One of the Dodge Concepts which will be presented at Detroit Auto Show is Dodge ZEO.

• Width: 1.743 m
• High: 1.29 m
• Electric engine with lithium batteries that assure 400 km autonomy.

At the Los Angeles Auto Show, Dodge unveiled new Viper SRT10 ACR 2008 (ACR- American Club Racer).
The race car is legal now on streets and it is equipped with a V10 engine, with 600 hp.
According to the auto producer, ACR lost some weight because of the sport suspension and because of an aerodynamic package.
Clients can chose for a less weight by buying the “Hard Core” package, which eliminates few elements, like the audio system. SRT10 ACR is waited to appear at the second half of 2008.
