Jay Leno, the celebrity from TV prepared something special for SEMA Tuning Show.
Jay loves cars and if money is no problem for him, he can permit to do anything he wants with its cars. For this year, Leno, with Pratt & Miller Company (they build version Corvette C6R) made a derivate Corvette Z06, named C6RS.
600 hp Corvette
The car has an 8.2 liter V8 aluminum propeller, which develops 600 hp and 790. GM names this propeller “small block”, because the capacity for one cylinder is over 1 liter!
At the Los Angeles Auto Show, Dodge unveiled new Viper SRT10 ACR 2008 (ACR- American Club Racer).
The race car is legal now on streets and it is equipped with a V10 engine, with 600 hp.
According to the auto producer, ACR lost some weight because of the sport suspension and because of an aerodynamic package.
Clients can chose for a less weight by buying the “Hard Core” package, which eliminates few elements, like the audio system. SRT10 ACR is waited to appear at the second half of 2008.

The Escalade SUV is the last model from Cadillac vehicles which will receive a Platinum package, characterized by unique interior finishes and not only.

The Special Edition Platinum will be on sale form next year’s spring and will have as a base the Escalade ESV version.
On the exterior, changes are made on LED optical blocks and 22 inch rims, and the interior will have a brand new central panel, console and interior “dressed” in manual sewn Aniline leather.
The interior luxury is increased by the wheel and the heated chair and the cold glass compartment.
Ford announced the appearing on the market of the latest edition of Focus, named ST500. This is a special model with higher performances. It cost £20,450 and it will be available only for 500 buyers.
Ford Focus ST500 is based on ST3, but with many new characteristics. All models are finished in black-metallic color and silver capot. Other features: Recaro leather seats, ST500 logos, xenon lights, rain sensors and many others.

Because of a big number of expositors, from all continents, at SEMA were many beautiful models with a lot of good taste, but also many ugly models, which had their role in this great show!
Ford presented at Frankfurt Motor Show new SUV Kuga, first model realized of European Division of Ford.
Designers were free to create what they wanted, which you can observe, not only on its daring lines of the body, but also by its frontal design, lights and windows.
Kuga is not a simply SUV and its rivals will be Volkswagen Tiguan, Nissan Qashquai, and other “beasts” from its category.

The model, presented at Frankfurt Motor Show has a turbodiesel Ford PSA engine, with 136 hp, but the base propeller will be, probably weaker. We have to wait and to see.
New Ford Mondeo obtained 5 stars on security test, done by EuroNCAP.
EuroNCAP test shows that the car is doing very well in case of front impact. Security cell stays stabile and the safety bells and airbags works efficient and prevent the contact with the board. Driver’s knees are very well protected by the airbag, which is mounted in the inferior part of the direction motorcade.
At this test, made at 64 km/h, Mondeo obtained 15 points of 16 possible.
The lateral impact and the pylon impact went very good for Mondeo, which obtained the maximum points, 18.
After launching the newest version of Mustang, although it had many critics about its rear forms, have appeared many variants strong and in exclusivity.
One of these extraordinary variants is special, because it’s from Hertz Renting Auto Park and is the only way to drive it.
It is called Mustang Shelby GT-H and it has made in 500 pieces, exclusively for company Hertz.
Ford Racing Performance Group’s Power Pack (FR1) will use the 4.6L V-8/Five-speed automatic transmission power-train to 319 hp. To put that extra power to the ground, the Ford Shelby GT-H will use the Ford Racing Handling Pack (FR3), including special-tuned dampers, lowering springs, sway bars and a strut tower brace – plus a 3.55:1 ratio rear axle assembly for extra off-the-line acceleration.
