Buick Riviera Concept is an outstanding concept car designed specially to showcase Buick’s new global design direction.
It made its debut at the Auto Shanghai 2007. The gull-wing Riviera Concept Coupe was developed with global design input, by Pan Asia Technical Automotive Center, or better said PATAC, in China. This is an engineering joint venture and design between Shanghai Automotive Industry Corporation (SAIC) and General Motors. Riviera Concept has been made to accommodate a new hybrid system, which will be in production at Shanghai GM, in 2008.
